To think of you is to smile! So many special folks, friends and family in my life makes me feel this way. I just adore this sentiment. Adore IT. I will be using it on a regular basis, no doubt about that!
Boy oh boy! What a beautiful and unique “bundle” this stamp set and framelit dies this Eastern Beauty is! I want to show you the stamp set and the how the framelits are when you receive them if you aren’t familiar. Stampin Up has it goin’ on when it comes to bundles. You get a cost savings by purchasing the bundle vs. purchasing separately. Almost always when I have purchased JUST the stamp set and not the dies to coordinate and cuts out the stamped images, I always WISHED I had got the dies! Always. SO, if I love a bundle a whole lot and I mean a whole lot, I get the BUNDLE each and every time and I SAVE myself 10%! What a smart shopper I am because if I decide I “need” the dies/framelits later, then I have to anny up and bite that bullet and pay full price for the framelits that coordinate. 🙁 I’m just wanting to let you know that when you see “bundles” in our brand new spankin’ catalog, really consider that cost savings because inevitable you might wish you had got the whole shebang!
Here’s the card recipe and scoop:
- Lemon Lime Twist card base
- Dapper Denim the matte atop of Lemon Lime Twist
- All NEW Eastern Palace Specialty Designers Series Paper atop the Dapper Denim
- Smaller matter in Dapper Denim
- Very Vanilla card stock to die cut out with Mr. Big Shot die cutting machine
- My outer circle stamping and the gorgeous sentiment is from the Eastern Beauty stamp set
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- There are 14 DIES to choose from to cut out – Isn’t that awesome?
- As shown, I die cut the vanilla piece first, then stamped the outer circle design and the sentiment afterward
- That awesome and beautiful die cut out enables the sentiment to stand out because the outer circle pops out and forward to give it such a gorgeous and lovely look
- You lay the large circle die and place the smaller one of your choice inside it and run it through the Big Shot machine and Voila! You have a simply lovely piece to ooooh and awe over!
This was SO SIMPLE. Not kiddin!” A few layers and then used the die cut and I’m done!
I have a special someone who is ALWAYS so thoughtful to me and my husband with giving just little gifts and tokens of love to us. This card is for her.
I also made a set of 3 X 3 little notecards and made my little envelopes out of Very Vanilla card stock using the awesome Envelope Punch board to match as a thank you gift. Sure hope she loves them, I sure loved making them for her!
I used the Lemon Lime Twist card stock, the designers series paper, Dapper Denim and Very Vanilla card stocks to make each of these. Do you see the sweet little envelope? I used the Thank you sentiment and punched out with my 1″ circle punch and a background using the 1-3/4″ inch circle punch to “ground it.”

So sweet! I hope she loves them! I will place the gift cards in a sweet little cello bag and stuff with paper shavings and throw in some decadent chocolate pieces as a little surprise “pick me upper!” 🙂 It sure would pick me up, I LOVE CHOCOLATE. Love anything that’s chocolate. Not picky one iota!

THE NEW IN COLORS FOR 2017-1019! Awesomeness Beauty!
It is SO exciting to get to show you these GO-JUS New “In Colors” for 2017-2019! Every year SU offers 5 BRAND NEW In Colors, right we have the beautiful 2016-2018 “In Colors” as well! Out with OLD, in with the NEW! Here’s the New colors you will love them! Stampin’Up stays definitely ON TREND with their color wheel selections that’s for sure! 2017-2019 – The order in the photo above: Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Tranquil Tide, Fresh Fig, and Powder Pink! All sorts of different ribbons selections, too! This is JUST one display of the coordinating ribbons for these beautiful colors! I will posting and using these colors in the coming months and the year! 
Above you will see my design using the bright, cheery and colorful Lemon Lime Twist! Doesn’t that sound refreshing, like a Sonic slushy or an addition to a Refreshing Margarita?!!! Yummy o! Take a closer look at the wonderful ribbon, and the marker! When the New In Colors come out, we get markers to MATCH the ink pads, too! Isn’t that awesome sauce? I know. I used the Pretty Label me Pretty stamp set to stamp my sentiment and then used the fabulous Label PUNCH (it’s new!) to punch out the shape. The sweet sentiment “thank you” is from the Eastern Beauty stamp set on page 19 of the New catalog. Do you have your new catalog? DO you see that stunning designer series paper on top of my card??!! It comes in all the new In colors and I just cut it down to fit my card, it comes in 12 X 12 paper size! NOW, did you see how I covered my envelope flap? I just flipped a piece of that designer series paper over, adhered with some snail tape runner adhesive at the top and trimmed around with my trusty ol’ paper snips scissors. These snips are sharp! and awesome and perfect! You need these if you don’t have them. They’re small enough to do intricate work as well! Here’s another display of these gorgeous NEW colors!

Happy Birthday, America! The land of the Free and the BRAVE. Today we celebrate our Independence Day and we are very blessed. I am thankful for ALL the past and present Military women and men who have served this beautiful FREE country of ours. Giving their lives apart from their own families to protect our liberty and freedoms we get every day. There are not enough thanks or words of heartfelt appreciation to express to those who serve and have served. To ALL those families that have lost their loved ones, many prayers, thoughts, and God’s blessings to each and every one of you. They will always be our Heroes, always.
This card is dedicated to those that are serving now and to those that have served in the past. Thank you for your humble and dedicated service. You are our heroes. You will never be forgotten. I am indebted for your service to protect the best COUNTRY in the WORLD. May God always bless you and to your families that have gone on the courageous, brave, and dedicated journey with you. May their worries and concern for your safety be comforted knowing this is what you felt called to do with your life. God Bless you, your families, all the military women and men, the Law Enforcement of this GREAT country of ours and thank you from the bottom of my heart. Forever thanks to you.

This is such a beautiful NEW stamp set in our brand new beautiful catalog-2017-2018.!!! It is called Loyal & True.
It is definitely a stamp set to own. It can be used for Veterans Day, July 4th Independence Day, Memorial Day and for your everyday needs for those that serve in our Law Enforcement agencies and protect us each and everyday locally. The sentiment I used today for this card would be wonderful for anyone you know who serves in Law Enforcement and of course, our great United States military!!
This stamp set would be great to share with school aged children, to stamp, decorate and then deliver with a big BATCH of homemade Chocolate Chip cookies to your local Law Enforcement stations. You could make a set of cards with envelopes and gift to a military family, so many possibilities to show your gratitude using this fabulous set!
This Loyal and True stamp set will be a KEEPER in my stash forever. I’ll post the stamp set below. I love it. 🙂
If you look closely, I used the Oh My Stars embossing folder for the Night of Navy matte. I used our wonderful Watercolor card stock, my Aqua Painter and the red and blue stamp ink pads. I squeezed some ink by pressing on the top lid, opened it up and dipped my damp/wet Aqua Painter into each color. Then I just “swished and swiped” back and forth in each color. I stamped our Soldier in Momento Black ink, pressed it down pretty well before lifting to get a good stamped image. The “holes” you see are in the stamp itself. You could color them in with our Stamping Write marker in black if you want it solid.
I stamped the sentiment on Real Red and layered it atop the Night of Navy banner. I used my Topper punch for the Red to cut the banner edge and free handed the Navy one.
I popped the navy banner on our large dimensional and placed the red banner using our new MINI dimensionals. Love those babies. 🙂 You will, too! Check them out!
I, also, placed about 8 dimensionals on the back of the light piece watercolor card stock to give lots of lift.
My sweet little envelope (envie), I wanted to give a little more appeal by cutting a piece of Night of Navy card stock to fit the flap. Ran that through the Big Shot using the Oh my Stars embossing folder! Gives it a little something more special, I think! 🙂 I miss our envelope liners, but I can be happy decorating the outside flaps as well! Make lemonade out of lemons, I say!
