Hello Friend!

To all the friends out there, Hello!   Thank you for being YOU!   I appreciate your friendships and your incredible awesomeness  all these years!   This card is dedicated to EVERYONE, yes you!  I may not know you, but I hope you feel valued and appreciated whoever you are and wherever you are.   Everyone is unique and kind in their own way.  Everyone has a heart and we are all sensitive to the feelings from our heart each and every day.  I hope you enjoy seeing this card and know that those that know you, love you, admire you, respect you, thank YOU for WHO you are!   You matter!  Always remember this.

Here is how I made my sweet card dedicated to you!

  • The ribbon, oh my goodness gracious alive, THE ribbon. Lushish-ness at its finest!  It’s a Debbie Dean word.  You must own at least ONE of the beautiful colors.  You must, you will LOVE working with it and then admiring it. You could even wear around your ponytail to look lush.  🙂 – 5/8″ Crinkled (not wrinkled!) Seam Binding.  Get you some, quick!
  • Stamp Set – Hello Friend, it is a must for your stash! #144059.  Wish list must have.
  • I used the floral wreath from the set, die cut out using one of the dies from Sweet and Sassy Framelits!  So sassy.
  • The smaller circle I used my 1-3/4″ circle PUNCH, punched that little piece out and stamped the sentiment and the sweet little flowers ALSO from this set!  So sweet. 🙂
  • I wanted a touch of the beautiful Berry Burst to pop the white card stock so I die cut once again from the Sweet and Sassy scallop Framelit!  This frame lit set offers a ton of different circle SIZES.  ALSO A MUST FOR YOUR STASH.  Can use for many, many sentiments, images, back drops, etc.  Endless.
  • I cut that pretty Old Olive designer series paper from my Coffee Suite stack.  It matched nicely with the Old Olive floral pieces and thought, I’m using it!  I like it, you?

This card was super easy peasy!  Just slap it all together and voila!  Pop the sentiment and circles up on the dimensional! Adds that pop greatness!  Instant simpleness and ready for your peeps that you love or like, or appreciate or respect, it’s perfect.  Make a bunch and keep on hand.  You’ll need them.

Lovely Inside & Out

Today’s card features the Lovely Inside & Out stamp set that I wanted to make up a bunch of cards to have on hand with this heartfelt sentiment, “Sending you HUGS.”   I don’t think you can ever have enough of a card like this to have in your stash for those that you just want to send “just because.”

In this set, I wasn’t quite sure HOW I was going to use the round stamp with the “fringe.”  THEN all of a sudden a “light bulb” went off and I thought, “why not make my own background design using it?”  You know how that sometimes goes, you are in a quandary thinking about something, then all of a sudden, it just hits your brain in a subtle little wave and voila, an IDEA happens??!!!!  That was me today.

Here’s the Debbie’s Details:

  • Vanilla Card Stock for Base of Card
  • Various ink pads of all colors
  • Sweet & Sassy Framelits (because you ARE Sweet & Sassy!)
  • Stamps!

I took the ROUND stamp and just started stamping all over the front of card base!  FIRST, I stamped OFF on a scrap piece of paper the round stamp, stamp onto card stock once, then inked it back up and stamped ON TOP of what I just stamped to create an interesting “design.”  I wanted a little of the “light” fringe to show.  It is almost as if you’re two step stamping.  This is a technique I will show in a later post.  🙂

Next I stamped the “sending you” and right below inked up the HUGS stamp and stamped.  I used another stamp in this set looks like “rain drops” sort of and stamped off again with this stamp.  Then I went back to the ROUND stamp and stamped in ink pad and then stamped OFF and then onto card stock.

Sweet & Sassy Framelit:  I die cut out TWO of the hearts, the largest one and then the next largest one with the stamped images.

  • Placed those awesome little dimensional on the back of all the hearts (be generous with these because they really ADD dimensional when you do, otherwise if you “skimp” your die cut piece will be “limp” or just will NOT stand up away from the card base. I think you know what I’m talkin’ about, but just add lots of them!

Then I wanted to show you what a “stepped up” look could be by using the bows!!  Isn’t that tiny one adorable?  So sweet.  I also used the Peekaboo Peach crushed looking ribbon to make a little bow so you could see the TWO different looks!

AND here’s this darling one!

Cute or what??!!  🙂  You can also see a closer look at the stamping/stampin OFF look, too!

Here they are standing ALL proud!  The sky is THE limit for simple cards like these by using your imagination with ANY color you want, adding ANY embellishment you want, like enamel dots we carry, twine, punched out flowers in coordinating colors to match your card stock, like I said, the sky is the limit!  What is so FUN, is this was a QUICK and simple card to make!  Makes a great gift for a hostess gift to give or to teachers, friends, neighbors, the sky is the limit on that, too!  🙂

This DARLING little Piggy!

Oh my goodness!  “This little piggy went to Market, this little Piggy stayed home, this little Piggy had roast beef…” HOW incredibly sweet is this little guy or little “girl?”  This is one of our new darling stamp sets in the all NEW catalog this year and when I first laid my peepers on it, I knew it was going to have a snuggly, cozy little home with ME!

I had so much fun playing around with this adorable set and I love all the sentiments, too!

Isn’t it SOOOOO KUH-UTE?!!!!

Debbie’s Details! 🙂

  • Thick white card stock for base
  • Daffodil Delight matte
  • Old Olive matte
  • Bermuda Bay for the scallop oval matte behind the Whisper white Oval with the image

I just couldn’t stop there, I made three NOTE CARDS to go along with my adorable Piggy card to gift a special someone!

I used our Stampin UP note cards that come 20 to a package/envelopes to boot!  Take a peek!

The “Hogs & Kisses” has the sentiment “love you” from the Lots of Love stamp set, but all the other sentiments I used for my note cards are in this set!

I just love this quote, too.  “She believed she could…SO she DID!”  ISN’T THAT AWESOME?!  I love it.

I used the embossing folder, ran through Mr. Big Shot and voila! I used the “Sparkle” embossing folder and placed a few of the all new glitter enamel dots atop!  They sparkle in person, gorgeous!

One last one, he’s so DARN cute! Or SHE!

For all the coloring of pink I simply used Powder Pink ink pad(New IN COLOR!) and my Aqua Painter.  I didn’t want my brush to be too wet, so be careful about that or it will run.  Smashed in the top of my ink pad, opened it up and grabbed a little of ink in the lid with my wet Aqua Painter barely brushed to “color my piggy.”  It takes PRACTICE and Heaven KNOWS I need more of it!  Just don’t be afraid and if you have any questions about it, just let me know, I’m more than happy to answer any best I can!

I used the Ovals, Circles, and Stitched Squares framelits for outer pieces to give dimension and interest!

Did you NOTICE the different envelope flaps on my note cards envies?  I simply place a scrap piece of card stock in coordinating colors and adhered with Fast Fuse after I embossed them to give some fun texture and to be a bit more “custom” and to coordinate with my note card piggies!

That’s it for today, I hope you enjoyed this sweet little set and want it in your stash!  It will make a cute little “mini” gift set for someone special I am sending to!  Please let me know if you have any questions at all, would love to answer them!
