You make me happy for stopping by today! 🙂 🙂 Thank you so much for your time here!
Isn’t he cute? Or she cute? Why do we tend to say oh he’s “so cute?” When really it’s a “she?”
I don’t know why, either. But, “he’s” so cute, isn’t he?!!
This darling stamp set is called Pretty Kitty! We don’t have any kitties at the Dean household, except for my “darling stamp set with Pretty Kitty!”
Precious little set! You should take a long hard look especially if you’re a kitty cat lover. I stamped him with Stazon Black ink and stamped the sentiment (which btw, can be used for many different reasons to many different peeps in our lives!) in Watermelon Wonder. This is just the prettiest tone of “reds and pinks” all put together in the bowl to make, Voila! Watermelon Wonder! Isn’t this pattern dsp adorbs? I’m lovin’ those sweet lil’ teeny tiny flowers! So sweet.
I colored in with the Daffodil Delight marker his cute ribbon bow around his little neck! AND then felt like it “needed” a little more “somethin.” So I added the Daffodil Delight enamel dot in the shape of the heart and put it to the side to add that lil’ somethin’ somethin! BUT, you don’t need it, necessarily. It would be cute without it, but I love “adding” things to my cards when sometimes it may not realllllllyyyy need it. Sigh…..
I thought “he” needed to be showcased in an OVAL framelit, both the plain, straight ovals and the scalloped. I tied the White thick twine around the dsp and there ya have it!
This was a very simple card to make I think you’d agree.
You could send this card or give this sweet card to someone special in person or SNAIL MAIL it!
I know my sweet husband, makes me very happy. Always and forever! He’s the BEST.
I hope you have a fabulous week ahead and I’ll see ya back here tomorrow! Any products you just love and “need” shop away in my online “shop!” Called “online shopping!” Can’t get more convenient than that! If you should EVER have any questions, just email, text or call! I’m here!
Have a great week everyone. Hugs always!
Thanks again for your visit and for checking out this adorable card.
From my Stampin’ heart to yours,
Debbie

I used the patterned paper (dsp) from the Playful Palette 6 X 6 pack! There are many nice patterns in this great little pack, wow! Then I used the cute little witch and bat from the Spooky Fun stamp set and the splatters from the Gorgeous Grunge set. That Gorgeous Grunge set is great to have for your “splatters” and to give some background “noise!” ha!
I paired Basic Black with Pumpkin Pie (my fav at Thanksgiving! what’s yours?) and it’s a traditional Halloween palette of colors. Right?
Here’s a close up so you won’t need to go findin’ your spectacles to SEE it. You are very welcome.
The pumpkin, patterned paper, black layer and very vanilla layer are all popped up with those trusty little dimensional to give DIMENSION. I tied some orange and black twine (new in the Holiday catty) to give more Halloweeny color!

Happy Saturday to everyone! 🙂 I have some “thoughts for you” and here it is! I am getting the “Fall itch” and “needed” to get my Cajun Craze out because I just love this color for FALL! I wanted to create a little card for a “just because” to send because if you have family, friends or someone you find yourself thinking of, why not make up a “thoughtful” card like this and send to spread your “thoughts of them?”
There are so many Fall color combos in our Stampin’ Up! lineup, but here’s just one of thousands. The base is Very Vanilla because and the layers are Cajun Craze and Pear Pizazz. I chose Pear Pizazz because the leaves here are starting to “lighten up” a bit from their rich green Garden Green or Always Artichoke color. 🙂
I thought adding in a little “shiny” would give the card a little more “pizazz” if you know what I mean. 🙂 So I added our beautiful Gold paper and our oh so sparkly gold ribbon, (it”s about an 1/8″ wide) and to give a little more dimension, see the super thin gold thread? It did the trick! In keeping with a “Fall” look I had had had to add that rustic, vintage-Y BURLAP ribbon to ground the entirety of my design. I used the lovely Leaflets framelits and will be using those ALOT during the fall, if you don’t have them for your fall creations, please consider! You will enjoy them so much! Guranateed!!
Here’s a little close up to see the texture in the Embossing folder (it’s NEW!) called PETAL BURST! Isn’t it just perfect in every single little way for fall and for next SPRING,too! 🙂
I’m sending some “Thoughts for YOU” today and hope you have a wonderfully fun and relaxing weekend doing what you want to do!! See you back here soon and thanks so much for looking in!
Remember the Thoughtful Branches stamp set is ONLY AVAILABLE until AUGUST 31! It’s such a great and beautiful and versatile and lovely set…can you tell I love it? Good, you need it.
You can scoop up the products for today’s card below, just shop my ONLINE store and you could even shop THERE until you “drop!” If you have any questions or want me to place your order for you, just let me know, I’m happy to help.
Sending thoughts FOR YOU, from Stampin’ Heart to yours!

Today’s card is for all those well deserved folks that are finally retiring from the work force after years of hard work and hard efforts! I left it pretty simple in the fact that I refrained from adding crumb cake twine, burlap ribbon and those awesome embellishments, (also known as embellies!). It has plenty of room to add those awesome niftly little things if you so wish to!
I pulled out the ol’ Rich Razzleberry ink pad and card stock and some good ol’ trusty Crumb Cake to play together to create this simple card. I added my sentiment in Basic Archival Black, it’s such a rich “black” I love it. The background stamp sure gave me the look I was shooting for using the stamp set called PERPETUAL BIRTHDAY CALENDAR. Do you know about this cool set to make your OWN calendars? Well, I’m hear to bring it back to real time LIFE for you! Page 134 of the Annual catty. It is also great to use for your memory keeping pages as well with all the months to showcase your memories. Check this one out. SO useful and I think the background stamp in it is pretty darn cool lookin’!
Here’s an up close and personal to take a gander:
I did POP UP the Very Vanilla card stock with dimensionals, but the rich razzleberry and the black layer I used the Tombow multipurpose glue. That stuff sticks. Let me tell you.
The flower stem image is from the Wild About Flowers stamp set. It’s beautiful, serene and the fonts for the sentiments themselves are so lovely as you can see on my card.
I think the Wild about Flowers stamp set offers sentiments of which we can recognize those special folks in our lives in a nice way. It’s always nice to have a few of these “retirement cards” of best wishes in our stashes. Especially this one is so simple and mails super flat and super easy!
I hope you have a wonderful day and if you have any questions, just let me know!
Now remember, if your wish list is growing and growing, you need to check out the Ultimate Bundle!
See you back tomorrow! Take care!
hugs to you,
Debbie
