Boo! Today’s card features the all New in the Holiday Catalog 2016 TWO really fun Halloween sets to make and send for some fun “scary” cards for your friends and family! This cute punched out skeleton little guy is from the the Cookie Cutter Punch on page 53 of the Holiday Catalog. There are four little people to choose from, check them out! Darling! I used the STAMPED scary bat from the same stamp set of which I stamped the skeleton guy! Those bats “eyes” are spooky to me! We have other bats this season in our other stamp sets, but this one is like “he’s” really looking at you.. I’m pretty sure he’s a HE.
I used the Whisper White THICK card stock for my base and basic black for the layer and the cut out bats using the Halloween Scenes Edgelits dies! Page 52, HC. I wanted to add a bit more dimension and texture and interest (all these things!) to my Pumpkin Pie piece. Then I decided to “string” around in our Black twine to complete my card. No rhyme or reason on that stringing “technique” haha! It’s not really a “technique” but I’m just calling it that make it sound more “technical.” haha.
I wanted to add some fun decor to my white envie, so I just adhered a piece of scrap Halloween designer series paper to the outside and just trimmed around the edges and presto! It’s done! I adhered it with just some snail. I did POP UP the orange pumpkin piece with those awesome blossom dimensionals we have! I use those just about every single. day. I then stamped on the “side” my sentiment from the Spooky Fun stamp set, which I think is a great one this year! Lots of “spooky” images and I do love the fonts, too.. 🙂
This is a really simple and quick to put together Halloween card, go ahead and send a few out, especially if you’re not accustomed to sending out Halloween cards. Just do it, it’s so much fun and who wouldn’t enjoy receiving a cute little Halloween card like this one? AND it shows your thinking of them, too! You can also remember to maybe stamp one of the small images on your envelope to add some fun for the mail deliverer!
Hope this gives you some ideas to go create a few! So, BOO someone this year with a handmade, personal, specially created by YOU card!
Remember for any supplies you may need, just click on the images below and it will take to my stamp “boutique!” Well…my store, but I kinda like “boutique” sounds rather sophisticated…Have a wonderful day!
Thanks SO much for stopping in and I hope it’s a great Tuesday.
As always, I’m here for you, email, call or text! If you need a Holiday catalog or our awesome Annual catalog and do not have a demonstrator, I’d love to be yours! Let me know if you need one and your contact info, and it’s out the door in a jif to you!

You’re not gonna believe what I did with these bright little squares! I tried a cool little technique by stamping my whole ink pad on my counter top (yes) in Bermuda Bay, Melon MAHMBOW, and Daffodil Delight and spritzed with a small (make up traveler bottle you get at Target, etc.) and smooshed the individual squares in their respective inks AFTER I cropped them out with our awesome SQUARE frame lits! It really gives it a more “dramatic” effect in person and I will be doing more of this in the next week or two using other die cuts!! It’s fun! I have other projects I played with last night, too! Can’t wait to share with you! I used our gorgeous butterfly die cut and stamped the sentiment from the Mixed Borders stamp set! There are some really meaningful sentiments and the borders are precious to use! I placed some “diamonds” onto the body of my black card stock butterfly and tied the black twine around the top of the card because I felt like it needed a little somethin’ more! I used the THICK whisper white card stock for the base, (its so sturdy and perfect for bases and other intricate things that need support), and layered in black and then white. It’s just an unusual type of technique for a card, but in person you should really see it! I’m thinking I’m going to add a bit of Wink of Stella clear pen to give my butterfly a shimmer! I used the Thick whisper white card stock to smoosh my squares, but afterwards I used my watercolor paper that I have from SU for some other projects I’m doing and it works a bit better for the blending aspect of it. When you hold this card, it feels like it’s a heavy piece of artwork! haha! You would probably have to pay a bit more in postage, but it would be worth it!! Try this technique and if you need to know anything more about this card, just email me! I love sharing more anything! I did sprinkle some diamond rhinestones around to add more bling! I hope you try it! As always, click on the images below to order any products you need, but I think you need to look closely at this wonderfully versatile stamp set! It’s a great one. Here it is before I added the twine! For your viewing pleasure! haha! It’s time to start thinking about your Holiday card making! Stay tuned for many Holiday card projects coming up! Thanks so much for stopping in today! I appreciate you so much! Let me know if you need anything! Many of you have asked about my October classes, I’ll be posting soon! Take care, enjoy each day and don’t forget to stop and smell the roses every now and again! It will clear you mind. Mucho love and hugs, Debbie

Hey Everyone! Good Morning and Good day where ever you are in the world! 🙂
I can’t seem to get enough creative goodness from this beautiful Paisley’s and Posies stamp set. It is very gorgeous to use especially with the Designer Series paper that goes along with it. This stamp set along with the patterned paper is in the all NEW 2016 Holiday Catalog!! Page 47 to be exact. 🙂 You may see me use this stamp a lot on my blog, I hope you enjoy all the possibilities!
I think the BUNDLE package is the best deal. Those framelits can be use without the stamp set for many card designs as well as using the stamp set itself and the beautiful paper!!!
I used Mint Macaron to cut out the die cut (the little Paisley piece) and I used a Label from the Tags & Label Framelits on page 193 of the annual catalog, I use the middle piece and then simply cut a square piece Of Rich Razzleberry and HAD to use my WOOD GRAIN embossing folder to give it a little somethin’ somethin!” I think it makes it a bit “more interesting!” Then had to also use some of that luscious card stock from the Petals and Paisley Specialty Designer Series Paper, wow, what patterns and beeeeee – UT- EEEE-FUL colors in that stack. Check it out, page 47 on the HOLIDAY CATTY!
The sentiment is from the Paisley and Posies stamp set itself and as many of you know, there’s some special loved ones I could give this card to. Can you think of someone or those in your own life that you could send or hand deliver to a special someone??? Isn’t the font just beautiful and tiny? Sure packs a punch.
Wanted you to see that up close and personal!
Here’s one more!
I don’t think for one iota you will be disappointed to have this set (framelits, too!) in your sweet little stash!!
I think the Mint Macaron (pronounced “mac-uh-rhone”) is decadent against the Rich Razzleberry and Delightful Djon in the Label tag behind the sentiment!
REMEMBER you can click on the images below and it will take to my ONLINE store, it’s SO simple and shop away in the privacy of your own home and in your jammies! How fun is that! And there’s no limit to your shopping fun! LOL! LOL! I know I know!
As usual and always, I’m always here if you need anything, questions, attend some pretty darn fun classes or simply to chat! Email, comment (that is always appreciated and I read them all!), I’m here for YOU! I want you to be happy and feel that you can depend on me for all your SU crafty needs!
From my Stampin’ Heart to yours ~
Take good care, be good to yourself and embrace all the good in the world!
Hugs to all,
Debbie

Today it was a wonderful day and this past week with my stamp classes. We have so much fun together, getting to know one another better and better each time we meet. This card makes me feel so very thankful, grateful and blessed to know these wonderful gal pals! In creating it, I was feeling overwhelmed almost for the opportunity to meet and know incredible friends and good people in this life. We all feel thankful, grateful and blessed for one thing or another walking this path called Life, but to appreciate our blessings, it requires reflection. Daily. Reflecting on our life whether there be challenges, obstacles, grief, or even anger…if we stop to realize something good in our life, then being and feeling grateful for that good, we can find the blessing. At least I do. Not every day is perfect, but boy am I happy and fortunate to have my family, my friends, my health, my furry babies, and the beauty of nature around me, well….I consider my life complete and completely blessed. For that, I am thankful and so very grateful. So when I read or see “Enjoy the little things” it serves as a deepened heartfelt feeling for me….my relationships, my friendships, a sweet furry “kiss” from my Dusty boy and Maggie Mae girl… they have touched my life within the depths of my soul… Nothing else compares. Nothing. So…I hope my card inspires you get out your stamps, ink and make a few cards that show your appreciation for those who have made you feel grateful for. And put that card in snail mail. You will make someone’s day, week or month or year. I promise. Okay enough of that…want to know a little bit about my card? Well, it was a blast! Guess why? You almost got it! I love stenciling! Back about 20 years ago, I stenciled my whole house…practically! I was so “in to stenciling” walls, toy boxes, furniture, gift boxes, anything that would…well…stencil! Oh my goodness. My sweet hubby roo just rolled his eyes and just smiled. Gotta love that boy!
My background on my card is all stenciling from these new awesome stencils in our Annual Catalog this year and they are legit. In that, I mean, the stencils themselves are sturdy and stable. I used my washi tape to hold it onto my paper just to get better precision for my stenciling, and I love these. You will too, if you give it a try or want to try at it again, if you’re like me and haven’t stenciled since the 80’s! I used Crushed Curry, Rich razzleberry, pear pizazz and some lush Crajun Craze. Got out the ol’ sponge daubers and went to town. It was so much FUN to do again, that I made I several different backgrounds using different shapes and different scrumptious inks we have! So that’s my background, almost could pass for designer series paper? No, yes? I was hoping to “fool you” on this! 🙂 It’s a bit difficult to see here, but I embossed the sentiment in Copper! It looks so nice in person, I just wish you could see it! AND, And, And, And…Those layer labels framelits can really make your card stand out with very little anything else. See how I layered three? There are actually 7 in this set! You can go smaller and larger from what you see here. Folks, you should consider these for you stash. I think you’d find yourself using them a lot. The stamp set I used is the wonderful Paisleys & Posies, it’s just so pretty. Here’s one stencil here I used, but you get 4 total in the pack! I did add a gorgeous grosgrain ribbon in Rich Razzleberry to the card to complement one of the Rich Razzleberries labels! My base is Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze and Very Vanilla for the other labels. I hope you give it a go with stenciling, ours are very well made. I promise you and I know stencils that are NOT good to stencil with, they rip and are flimsy. Not these babies. I just want you all to know how thankful I am each and every day for you, to stop by here and for your orders along the way and for your friendship, both virtually and in person. I sincerely thank you. May you always be blessed with all things that matter most in your lives. As always, let me know how I can assist or answer any questions. Have a wonderful Monday!
Mucho grande hugs and love,
Debbie

Look, it’s a “bundle” of Thanks, that is, Thank You cards for a sweet gift to someone for a gesture of kindness they’ve shown you, for a birthday gift to a friend, a relative, co worker, etc. OR as a “just because” for someone because they’re quite special to you. I got on a roll last night and thought I’m going to use some of the colors I don’t use all that often and they were saying, “pick me, pick me, you always go right past me!” Although I do use Cherry Cobbler ALOT at Christmas and Valentine’s Day! SO….the chosen, lucky colors featuring their not too often “debut” here on the blog are Island Indigo (when is the last time you used yours?? And don’t be too hard on me if you use it ALOT!), Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler and Perfect Plum! I hardly ever use that beautiful purple color of Perfect Plum. Gosh, I should if it’s “perfect.” What have I been doing? Gosh.
Anyway, I wanted to use our awesome, thick, very classy note card sets from Stampin’ Up as they are so nice and come with their gorgeous, smooth as velvet envies, too! Check them out on page 176 of the Annual Catalog and get yourself some! They’re quick to whip up a thank you, just a note, congrats or even birthday. Really, it’s endless what you can use them for. I then wanted to use the lovely and heavily embossed folder called FESTIVE, IT’S NEW! It’s so fun and can be used for many different occasions, too!
See it up close and personal here:
I used the Lots of Labels Framelits, these are great as they layer nicely and great sizes for our sentiments and our images as well!! I wanted to use Crumb Cake because I feel it goes with just about all the colors we have pretty well. It’s neutral and it can be subtle if need be. Then I used the sweet little flower from Cottage Greetings as well as the “thanks” from that “sweet” set! I’ve used that set a TON!! I thought it would be cute to decorate the envies with the two flower “stalks” from this SAME set! How versatile can you get? I know!!
Here is how you could package it or you could make a note card holder as well!
SO I encourage you to stock up on some packages of notecards, they come in Whisper white (shhhh!) and Crum Cake (aren’t you hungry now?!). Item # 131527 for WW or #133766 for Crumb Cake! These were so much fun to make and probably took all of about 30 minutes. I could have kept going, but I needed to get ready for my Cupcakes and Cards class tomorrow! Have a fabulous Sunday and thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate you guys so much! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support, I LOVE LOVE LOVE what I do and love sharing with you! Be well, be safe, and be sweet!
