Today’s card features a very simple, yet classy “thinking of you” card to send to someone that YOU need let know you are THINKING of them, for what ever reason it may be.
This awesome, yet simple stamp set is from Count my Blessings from the all NEW holiday catalog! I am in love with the FONTS in this set which has TWO sentiments and very lovely design images.
Such a simple, FLAT card and elegant!
Here’s the Debbie’s Deets!
- Thick, Whisper White card stock (this is an amazing heavier card stock and is awesome for the BASE of your cards!! We carry the regular weight Whisper White as well!
- I stamped the sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink
- Then stamped my floral image in Basic Black Archival Ink
- Ran the lovely black and white WASHI TAPE vertically and then horizontally to complete my card
- I top layer is doing “the talking” and I used dimensionals on the back of this layer to POP IT UP to give “dimension” and it does!
- This card is complete!
- So simple!

Our all new Holiday Catalog presents stunning and wonderful and cheerful and sweet stamp sets for all your Holiday projects, this card showcases two variations out of the multitude of ideas you could come up with! 
I really love this stamp set because while not all of us or everyone of us have the opportunity to physically come HOME for Christmas, I do believe all hearts come for Christmas whether in live person or just in our remembrances of days gone by Christmas holidays. I really just love this stamp set because of the house images which are different and fun to play with. 🙂 But, for also the Santa and his awesome reindeer “flying through the air” to land and deliver Christmas toys for the little ones. It is a nostalgic memory of sorts for me, the visionary of what that portrays in my mind when I was a little girl. Here is another version and I have made a few more, but for this post I will showcase two to give you inspiration for this sweet and endearing set. Debbie’s Deets on the above card:
- Garden Green for the base of card, Crumb Cake for the EMBOSSED wood plank layer
- Three darling hearts die cut out using the Sweet and Sassy Framelits
- Cute houses stamped with Garden Green and Crumb Cake along the bottom
- LOVE the Garden Green HEART enamel dot on upper left corner (Enamel Shapes, Annual Catalog)
- I sponged all the edges with Crumb Cake to “soften” the look and make it look antiqued and vintage-y including ON TOP of the ridges of the raised embossed Wood Planks!
For this pretty card in Night of Navy and accented with Whisper White card stock and Embossed using the White Embossing Powder for the Santa/reindeer and the pretty stars! Love it!
- The house scene was used with the Coordinating Hometown Greetings Edgelits dies page 39 of the Holiday catty! SO cool in person, love these dies! Can use for so many all occasion “scenes” such as for a new neighbor just moving in to their new house, anyone moving to a new residence, sending out “We’ve moved” here’s our new address cards, so many ideas come to my mind!
Below is the inside sentiment, I sponged the edges and added the images to coordinate with the front of my card!
I used Versa Mark ink and rubbed across the bottom of the houses and then sprinkled Heat and Stick powder and used my Embossing heat gun to melt it and then quickly sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds glitter on top and it sticks it to the paper!!! It is really pretty on the lovely navy card stock
- Sentiment is embossed in white embossing powder to set the scene I created
- I used a 1/8″ ribbon in Silver #132137 in the Annual Catalog, page 198 at the bottom under the “snow hill”

Fall is in the air! The all NEW Painted Autumn Suite is fabulous! The stamp images are outstanding and I can’t wait to share with all of you!
Here are the Debbie Deets!
- Would you just take a look at this GORGEOUS designer series paper?? Can you see how beautiful it is? Oh my!
- Card Base: Soft Sky
- Layered 4″ X 5-1/4″ designer paper
- Precious Soft Sky Scalloped Die Cut from Layering Circles Framelits – #141705
- I cropped one of the beautiful Sunflowers from the designer paper using my Stitched Circle dies #145372 in Annual Catalog and STAMPED the leaves over it in Garden Green (2 step stamping, one leaf stamped on top of another leaf), and sprinkled the “dots” from this stamp set (it is a teeny tiny stamp, so sweet!)
- Wrapped some pretty Crushed Curry ribbon – 3/8″ around it and tied a darling bow!
- Stamped the lovely, well meaning sentiment in Cajun Craze ink and flagged the end of it
- Voila! Pretty card waiting to be snail mailed (the best kind of mailing!) for my upcoming Thanksgiving cards to mail to let my friends and family I am thinking of them
This gorgeous “suite” in the New Holiday catalog is one of the most popular ever, the papers are gorgeous (just dreamy!), there is a fantastic LEAF punch I will be showcasing in future posts that completes it as a BUNDLE! 10% savings on the bundles, peeps! Below is the incredible, FUN stamp set!
Two step stamping: Stamp either the darker image first or the lighter, your choice! Stamp one ON TOP of another by lining it up, it’s easy peasy! Creates a watercolor effect and SO fun using ALL different colors of ink for your Sunflowers! Doesn’t always need to be yellow! Create your way! Use the colors YOU want! I love what I do!! It so much fun to share with you, too!!!
This card was SO simple to create, I really loved stamping on top of the pretty pattern in the designer series paper, you can do that so don’t be timid to! It adds a little somthin’ somethin! The little “dots” I stamped kind of “matches” the sprig in the paper. See it?????!!! Good.
The Painted Autumn Designer series paper on page 49 Holiday catty, is so beautiful! I think you will enjoy this Suite for all your FALL and Thanksgiving projects. I know you will NOT be disappointed!

Welcome to the Neighborhood, friends! The all new HOME LIFE stamp set is just so stinkin’ adorable, you’re going to fall in love!
This new stamp set HOME LIFE is a two or three step process which ever stamps you want to place on top! It’s really cool to do! The possibilities for creativity is endless (of course, being creative doing it “YOUR WAY” always rules!) Right?! 🙂
Do you see any differences here? If you guessed there is NO darling bow, you’re a genius! I first thought I was complete with my card creation, but thought, “hey, why not try adding a sweet little bow?” SO, I decided I would show case that one at the top of my post. Then I thought you’d like to see it without the bow. You could just have it simple and no bow, or just add the bow! I like it both ways, but lean more towards the adorable bow! I used to make BOWS for everyday wear when my sweet daughter was growing up, I love making the bows and then hot glued them to a barrett! SO cute and she loved them, too! Thank goodness…:)
Tips and details!
- There are three LARGE images to add and place on the house, Stampin’ Up numbered the order of which to use them if you decide you want to use all three (thank you Stampin Up!)(there will be some overlapping as shown here, it does add interest and frolic fun)! However, using just two of the images (example: Stamp the large flower images, then just the leaves would be adorable, too! I opted to stamp all three to introduce THREE colors and I am happy with it!
- The House and the Banner have frame lit dies to cut out (Awesomeness!)
- The sentiment which is in the set does not, I just stamped on whisper white card stock and then used my paper trimmer to cut out the sentiment and then cut a piece of Melon Mambo slighter larger as a matte
- I used the Melon Mambo enamel heart on the banner (did you spot it?) Good!
- The three colors used are Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Old Olive
Deciding on how many or how much decorative desire you are wanting on your “house” is the only decision that might be a bit thought provoking, I will show you using just TWO of the images instead of three here:
I stamped the flowers in Crushed Curry ink to match the base, then I stamped the leaves in Cajun Craze ink. The layer is in Cajun Craze (I’m all uh-craze for this color for FALL!) and I stamped the exact flower image in Cajun Craze as well (tone on tone as they call it!)
Pearls! Ahhh….so sweet, aren’t they? I could have simply LEFT THEM OFF, but WHY o’ WHY would I do that silly thing? I dropped the banner down a wee bit because I didn’t want to “cut off” the right roof top ledge, how sad would that be????!! I know. I could have raised the house UP more towards the top near the bow and simply placed my banner on the lower part of the card straight across. SO many possibilities, that’s why it is so much FUN to stamp and create! It’s your way! No rules, remember?!!

And one more!
So if you have stayed with me to the end of this post, you can see that I only stamped TWICE ON THE ABOVE CARD and not three. The flowers first, then the leaves. You have a guide on the photopolymer stamp to “guide” you on where to place these. It’s really very simple once you try it a few times on scrap paper to get a good feel. I love it, it’s adorable!
