Congratulations on your Retirement

DKD wm.IMG_99731

Today’s card is for all those well deserved folks that are finally retiring from the work force after years of hard work and hard efforts!  I left it pretty simple in the fact that I refrained from adding crumb cake twine, burlap ribbon and those awesome embellishments, (also known as embellies!).  It has plenty of room to add those awesome niftly little things if you so wish to!

I pulled out the ol’ Rich Razzleberry ink pad and card stock and some good ol’ trusty Crumb Cake to play together to create this simple card.  I added my sentiment in Basic Archival Black, it’s such a rich “black” I love it.  The background stamp sure gave me the look I was shooting for using the stamp set called PERPETUAL BIRTHDAY CALENDAR.  Do you know about this cool set to make your OWN calendars?  Well, I’m hear to bring it back to real time LIFE for you! Page 134 of the Annual catty. It is also great to use for your memory keeping pages as well with all the months to showcase your memories.  Check this one out.  SO useful and I think the background stamp in it is pretty darn cool lookin’!

Here’s an up close and personal to take a gander:

I did POP UP the Very Vanilla card stock with dimensionals, but the rich razzleberry and the black layer I used the Tombow multipurpose glue. That stuff sticks. Let me tell you.

The flower stem image is from the Wild About Flowers stamp set. It’s beautiful, serene and the fonts for the sentiments themselves are so lovely as you can see on my card.

I think the Wild about Flowers stamp set offers sentiments of which we can recognize those special folks in our lives in a nice way.  It’s always nice to have a few of these “retirement cards” of best wishes in our stashes.  Especially this one is so simple and mails super flat and super easy!

I hope you have a wonderful day and if you have any questions, just let me know!

Now remember, if your wish list is growing and growing, you need to check out the Ultimate Bundle!

See you back tomorrow!  Take care!

hugs to you,

Debbie

For you

Awe, look at these sweet hearts, I just love them! They are new this year in our Annual catalog and there are two different “styles” of them to choose from. Isn’t that just awesome?  I love choices and you will find all different sizes and “pointy” shapes at the bottom of the heart dies.

They’re called Sweet and Sassy Framelits!  Isn’t “sassy” cute?  We all get a little “sassy” at times, but we don’t really mean to be, or do we?  There are a whopping 15 heart shapes to choose from! So FUN!  So be sure to check them out on page 193 of our all new Annual catalog. Speaking of catalogs, do you need one?  If you do and would love to get in on the stamping fun train with moi, send me your contact info and it’s in the mail pronto!

I used for the base of this card the NEW 2016-2018 “IN COLORS!” Dapper Denim, yes this denim card stock is quite DAPPER!  It’s such a rich blue, but not navy blue. It’s hard to describe, really.  I thought Peek a BOO peach would be would just be quite lovely together as it is a NEW in color, too!  Isn’t it so peachy PRETTY?  AND I couldn’t resist those adorable little enamel peach hearts to go along with the die cut hearts on the card. They just “stand out!” The sentiment is from the oh so lovely Thoughtful Branches stamp set that is available until August 31!  That’s in 8 days!  Get it soon because you will enjoy being a proud owner of this awesome set.

I used the NEW Festive embossing folder on my oh so Dapper Denim heart to give some texture and add to the beauty!  Little Mr. Blue Bird cropped out in Dapper Denim is from the Thoughtful Branches bundle pack.  Isn’t he sweet? He is the perfect size. I love him.

Thoughful Branches

See him in the frame lit?  This bundle is truly a keeper, so don’t miss out on this one because this bundle set will be awesome for your Fall cards!

I hope you enjoyed this card today and can think of someone to send it to along with maybe some of your homemade Cowboy cookies or a small little lotion or a sweet little gift card attached, lots of reasons to make a “For you” card to send.  Make your cards and get them in to the hands of peeps who will adore a snail mail note card!

Have a blessed day and try to make time for yourself.  If you can.  It will do you good.

Lots of stampin’ hugs from my stampinheart!

Take care,

Debbie

Thank you!

Hey, y’all!  Here’s another card using the awesome bundle (a 10% savings bundle!) from the Thoughtful Branches bundle set!  It’s so versatile and it’s only available until August 31 and that’s coming up soon, so don’t miss this one before it leaves us and goes on its journey far away.

I stamped the hydrangea in Cajun Craze, Pear Pizazz and Crushed Curry and then die cut it out using my trusty ol’ Big Shot boy!  The tree trunk is stamped in Early Expresso onto Soft Suede card stock and the Thank you sentiment is stamped in Early Express and then cropped out using those awesome little Oval babies, one size and then the next one up to create a background in the contrasting color of Cajun Craze.  I love Cajun Craze! You know why? Because it reminds me it’s almost Fall!  It’s my favorite season, but summer runs a close second.  I mean CLOSE. 🙂 I love the heat!

Here’s my card a little more close up:

I did use my Wood Grain Embossing folder on the layer of Pear Pizazz to give it more texture, and then I was done and happy with the result!   Hope you like it and I hope you get your Thoughtful Branches bundle set soon!!!

Thoughful Branches

I hope you have a GREAT Monday for a MONDAY today!  Come back soon, there’s so much holiday goodness coming your way!  As I always say, let me know if you have any questions!

From my stampin’ heart to yours,

Debbie

Oh how I love you a Watt!

DKD wm.IMG_99461

Do you have someone in your life that you love a “watt?” Well, I bet you do because I wanted to show a cute way of letting them know that you do.  🙂 How sweet would this be to send to someone in Snail Mail?  Sweet!

Today’s card is from a Hostess Stamp set that when I placed my demonstrator order, I earned it!  Yay hoo!  So it was actually quite simple to whip up and create.  The stamp set is called Pun Intended.  I love to use “puns” sometimes when I’m chatting with peeps.  So this set was going to head into my stash pronto!

I used the ever most gorge (short for gorgeous) Moroccan patterned paper.  This particular paper for this card I thought could go either way, used for a masculine card or a not masculine card.  haha!  It’s versatile!  I used those awesome OVALS framelits sets to showcase this darling image with the light bulb. 🙂

I then stamped the sentiment in Delightful Djon and colored in the little heart, too, with it. I thought I wanted to make it look a bit vintage-y and not too perfect so I cut the words and backed them with our Early Expresso card stock to go with the patterned paper.  Here it is up close and “personal” ha!

IMG_9944

I hope you like this sweet little card today.  It was so quick and simple, BUT yet packs a punch with the sentiment!  I can think of many that I love a “WATT!”  How about you?  Below are the products I used and if you click each product, it takes you to my online STORE where you can order what you need.  🙂

Have a great weekend everyone and I’ll see ya back here tomorrow!  Lots of love, I love y’all a “WATT!”

From my stampinheart to yours!

Debbie

You Wonderful Person You!

DKD wm.IMG_99391

You wonderful person you for visiting my blog today!  Thank you so much.

Today’s card features one of the most beautiful patterned paper you’ve ever seen! It’s designer series paper called Floral Boutique. It is all navy and whites.  It was SO hard picking which one I wanted to use for today’s card, so I did an eeny menny miny moe, and voila!  It’s truly hard to choose.  I couldn’t be more serious with you.

I chose to use the oh so lovely PANSY PUNCH because I thought the flowers in the paper mimicked the pansy edges.  You think, too?  I wanted to some texture to my flowers, so I embossed with the gently falling embossing folder and die cut out the WHITE centers with ALL NEW Blossum Builder PUNCH! SO easy. AND then to top even the centers EVEN more I used the ALL NEW Enamel shiny Dots (the smallest in the bunch) to complete the Pansy flowers.

See up close here

DKD wm.IMG_99391

I used Glue Dots to adhere the flowers, BUT I did use a cut in half dimensional to give the white centers lift and dimension instead of laying flat.  It really is kinda cool to see it in person.  So, if you want to come over, c’mon.  Then, the sentiment ( I love this one so much), so many wonderful people in this large vast world to give this to is from the Designer TIN of CARDS sentiments that go with this spectacular kit! I will showcase this TIN of CARDS kits soon here, so stay tuned!

IMG_9940

You can get an idea of the dimension these flowers are by using just those: DIMENSIONALS! Boy, do they add a little somethin’ somethin’ to cards.  Boy howdy.

Be sure to own this beautiful paper in your paper stash. You need it. You will be happy if you own it.  I promise!

I hope you enjoyed my project today and I hope you will see it that you really can’t be without this gorgeous patterened paper and the outstanding sentiments that are living inside the Tin of Cards stamp set!

Have a great Thursday you WONDERFUL person, you!  Hope to see you soon!  Do let me know if you have questions about anything here at mystampinheart.

Lots of hugs from my stampin’ heart to you!

Debbie
