Hi Everyone!
I am a certified Stamp-A-holic! And a proud one. I am married to the love of my whole life who supports my crafting endeavors and there are many. He is my true love. I am a very proud momma to two beautiful children, a daughter and son. They have brought so much love, joy, laughs and memories into our lives that words here could not begin to express. They are young adults now and have flown from the nest now (sadly) and we miss them each and every day. I love them so, but not a day or two that passes that we aren’t in contact. We also are blessed to have to two very sweet pups. Our Goldens, Dusty boy and Maggie Mae. Getting on up in the years, 12 and 14, but still have lots of Golden love to give each and every day. We are blessed. We live in the beautiful Rocky Mountain state of Colorado and enjoy all the beauty this great state has to offer. We have lived her for 23 years, but seems like yesterday we moved from our native state of Texas. I was born, raised, and lived there for many years, so I’m sure some of my southern ways will come out in my posts and my videos.
I SO love to stamp and create pretty cards. I love paper, ink, and stamps, I’m an avid paper crafter, memory keeper, and love trying new creative things! It’s a passion of mine. And I’m so lucky that I get to share with you.
I’m excited to have you stop by for a visit~ There will be lots of fun ideas here to share with you. It truly warms my heart to be able to share my love of stamping and paper crafting with all of you. I am an active Stampin’ Up! demonstrator who is “addicted” to all things Stampin’ Up! AND ALL things that have to do with PAPER, card stock and STAMPS.
A few years back I attended a Stampin’ Up! event not knowing what Stampin’ Up! was and I became “fast friends” with this awesome company and their adorable rubber stamps. I fell in LOVE with everything in that “Oh so FUN” catalog that night. It was SO much FUN, I absolutely had no clue what I was getting myself into, but one thing I DID know was…that I was in love with it ALL. Like love at first sight type deal. In love ~with ALL OF IT. Not just “some” of it. ALL of IT. The coordinating inks, card stock,markers and stamps just took my breath away and I wanted E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. I made a purchase that night. Of course I did. Went with the intention of “not purchasing anything.” uh huh.
But, after that purchase, I thought I love this stuff so much, I WANT the DISCOUNT. But, first and a big FIRST, was what was the “catch?” As I had NO intention of doing this as a business at the time. Just a “hobbyist.” Found out that there was NO obligation to selling anything. So that was all I needed to know. I ONLY signed up for the discount. That was all. If I was going to spend some money, I wanted to get that amazing discount. So I did. (grinning ear to ear!!) so as it went ….the rest is history. Here I am, having a great time. A blast! AND I want to share with y’all the great products I use in creating my projects and show you how much fun I’m having here, so welcome, welcome, welcome!
As my crafting and card making evolved into an addiction, what I was to find…was an incredible company to be associated with. Gosh, an incredible association. The support, the life long friendships, and the shared enthusiasm of all those that do this with me has brought so much joy and love into my crafting life. It just fits. For me. My philosophy of sharing stamping fun with you really does align with Stampin’ Up!’s Statement of the Heart. I am so passionate about this hobby. My blog name will reflect my true love for my passion, you will see. It brings such joy to my every days. I can’t wait to share!
What I, also have found, is that it’s not just about the awesome gorgeous inks and the pretty papers that coordinate with them, and all the other outstanding products and of course the STAMPS, it’s ALSO about the connections people develop with themselves through paper crafting and with each other using these fabulous stamping and crafting products. The gatherings, the stamping “I need some ME time parties”, Wine down Wednesday’s stamping fun, the Chicks and Chocolates nights, the PMS parties (pizza or Popcorn, martini’s and stamping) parties, the Holiday and Christmas card palooza get togethers, back to stamping school class parties, and much more…! It’s about relationships. Friendships…. life long. It all happens with a simple stamp, a piece of cardstock and some ink, sitting with a friend stamping the night away, a chocolate brownie and chit chat time…it’s really wonderful. Awesome blossom sauce, actually. Whether you think you’re crafty or not so crafty, you will find out that you really are. And just you don’t know it. Give it a try. If you already are a stamping fanatic, in love with stamps, paper, ink kind of person, then Congratulations! You are just like me. We are already friends and you didn’t even know it.
