I used the patterned paper (dsp) from the Playful Palette 6 X 6 pack! There are many nice patterns in this great little pack, wow! Then I used the cute little witch and bat from the Spooky Fun stamp set and the splatters from the Gorgeous Grunge set. That Gorgeous Grunge set is great to have for your “splatters” and to give some background “noise!” ha!
I paired Basic Black with Pumpkin Pie (my fav at Thanksgiving! what’s yours?) and it’s a traditional Halloween palette of colors. Right?
Here’s a close up so you won’t need to go findin’ your spectacles to SEE it. You are very welcome.
The pumpkin, patterned paper, black layer and very vanilla layer are all popped up with those trusty little dimensional to give DIMENSION. I tied some orange and black twine (new in the Holiday catty) to give more Halloweeny color!
Get ready with your Wish List! You really should consider this adorable SPOOKY FUN set for your upcoming ghoulish wishes to all your peeps!

Well I happen to check my card list and realized I needed some birthday cards (4) (and two sympathy cards) and an anniversary card by September 6th. So I guess I’ll put Halloween off for another week. I am looking forward to the cooler weather. I think this has been one hot summer, as far back as I can remember. Fall is always my favorite time of year.
🙂
Nanc, you’re going to be busy with some card making these next few days, sorry for the sympathy ones, those are never easy… You have some time yet to put Halloween off…I just can’t believe all the stores have pumpkins out and Christmas decorations. Ahhhh…I’m still hanging on to summer…ha!
Ryan, my son, has said New York where he is in rotations, that it has just been so HOT and SO humid there. He usually doesn’t say much about the weather, but this summer he comments over it nearly every day. Hoping the days get cooler soon there! It’s 58 here at night! And that’s freezing to me. LOL. Have a grand day!
Oh Deb, I love this card so much. I like every aspect of it . . . the stamping, layout and layers. Now this could get me in the Halloween mood! Maybe I’ll get out my Halloween container today!
Have a great Sunday.
🙂
You’re the sweetest, Nancy. Thank you.
I know I need to get my “fall home decor” out really soon, I can tell. The weather is a dead give away. Cooler mornings and cooler nights here. Halloween is such a fun time of year for the little ones. It’s still early, I know…but you know, it just creeps up on us before we know it! Hope you had a great weekend. take care!
