Today’s card is for all those well deserved folks that are finally retiring from the work force after years of hard work and hard efforts! I left it pretty simple in the fact that I refrained from adding crumb cake twine, burlap ribbon and those awesome embellishments, (also known as embellies!). It has plenty of room to add those awesome niftly little things if you so wish to!
I pulled out the ol’ Rich Razzleberry ink pad and card stock and some good ol’ trusty Crumb Cake to play together to create this simple card. I added my sentiment in Basic Archival Black, it’s such a rich “black” I love it. The background stamp sure gave me the look I was shooting for using the stamp set called PERPETUAL BIRTHDAY CALENDAR. Do you know about this cool set to make your OWN calendars? Well, I’m hear to bring it back to real time LIFE for you! Page 134 of the Annual catty. It is also great to use for your memory keeping pages as well with all the months to showcase your memories. Check this one out. SO useful and I think the background stamp in it is pretty darn cool lookin’!
Here’s an up close and personal to take a gander:
I did POP UP the Very Vanilla card stock with dimensionals, but the rich razzleberry and the black layer I used the Tombow multipurpose glue. That stuff sticks. Let me tell you.
The flower stem image is from the Wild About Flowers stamp set. It’s beautiful, serene and the fonts for the sentiments themselves are so lovely as you can see on my card.
I think the Wild about Flowers stamp set offers sentiments of which we can recognize those special folks in our lives in a nice way. It’s always nice to have a few of these “retirement cards” of best wishes in our stashes. Especially this one is so simple and mails super flat and super easy!
I hope you have a wonderful day and if you have any questions, just let me know!
Now remember, if your wish list is growing and growing, you need to check out the Ultimate Bundle!

Debbie
