This stamp set is Lots of Love and I LOVE it. It’s a fabulous stamp set featuring some “love” wishes and thinking of you sentiments that would delight anyone in your life if they received it as a Snail Mail surprise!
It is truly SO simple to put together in a jiffy and yet packs a punch with it’s resounding BOLD sentiment!!
I made a batch of these to send out for Valentine’s and also made some spring time spares to send when those birds start chirpin’ on a regular basis to denote Spring is coming! I’ll share below to show you it’s such a versatile set!
Debbie’s Deets!
- Black card base – 5-1/2″ X 4-1/4″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Whisper White layer – 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Basic Black measures 3-5/8″ x 2″
- Whisper White measures 3-1/2″ x 1-3/4″
I stamped the sweet Cherry Cobbler hearts using the Heart Happiness (this stamp set is adorable!!) in the Spring Occasions catalog 2018! It’s one image with 6 tiny hearts so I created my own background “patterned” paper (Debbie’s “designer” series paper, haha!) on both the pieces of Whisper White card stock.
I used the beeeeeeee-Uteeee-FUL Metallic 3/8″ white ribbon in the Annual Catalog and colored it, yes, colored it with the AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING stampin Blends! They’re our alcohol markers and color so smooth and lovely! If you don’t have these yet, people, you must try at least a set! So great to color in any image and for shading as well! This is such a cool “TIP!” Run the SIDE of the large end tip of your blend marker along the strip of ribbon and you can create ANY color ribbon you want to! I love it, it works wonderfully and does not rub off onto your card projects, either!
I stamped the large BOLD sentiment in Cherry Cobbler (the other sample above I used Real Red) and then proceeded with the matting of the layers to coordinate with each other!
I stamped the envelope to add a little extra touch!
This was so easy and you could make dozens in about 30 minutes time, very simple and I did use the mini dimensionals on the small black layer to give it some pop up ability and to also run my ribbon under it. Lovely!
Here’s a few other Springy time samples, I will be making many more using all kinds of bright and springy colors soon!
For these lovelies, I used the designer series papers to mat the fronts on the cards, wrapped that gorgeous Metallic Silver ribbon around, layered the sentiment in Old Olive, Silver Foil and Whisper white and then cut out with the Bouquet Bunch Framelits in the Annual catty to make the leaves that adorn the on the sentiment. I stamped the white layer using the pretty flower images from the Cake Soiree on page12 in our Occasions catalog, this is a very nice cake and floral set that you should take a look! I used the designer series papers called Sweet Soiree Specialty paper on page 13 that coordinates with the stamp set! Gorgeous ensemble and you will see more from me using it soon!
Both cards above used this specialty paper to layer over my card base, made it super quick, yet added a special touch. 🙂 See the little Rich Razzleberry enamel heart? You did, good?!! It’s from our Brights collection.
