Happy Birthday, America!  The land of the Free and the BRAVE.  Today we celebrate our Independence Day and we are very blessed.  I am thankful for ALL the past and present Military women and men who have served this beautiful FREE country of ours.  Giving their lives apart from their own families to protect our liberty and freedoms we get every day. There are not enough thanks or words of heartfelt appreciation to express to those who serve and have served.   To ALL those families that have lost their loved ones, many prayers, thoughts, and God’s blessings to each and every one of you.   They will always be our Heroes, always.

This card is dedicated to those that are serving now and to those that have served in the past. Thank you for your humble and dedicated service.  You are our heroes.  You will never be forgotten.  I am indebted for your service to protect the best COUNTRY in the WORLD.  May God always bless you and to your families that have gone on the courageous, brave, and dedicated journey with you.  May their worries and concern for your safety be comforted knowing this is what you felt called to do with your life.  God Bless you, your families, all the military women and men, the Law Enforcement of this GREAT country of ours and thank you from the bottom of my heart. Forever thanks to you.

This is such a beautiful NEW stamp set in our brand new beautiful catalog-2017-2018.!!!  It is called Loyal & True.

It is definitely a stamp set to own.  It can be used for Veterans Day, July 4th Independence Day, Memorial Day and for your everyday needs for those that serve in our Law Enforcement agencies and protect us each and everyday locally. The sentiment I used today for this card would be wonderful for anyone you know who serves in Law Enforcement and of course, our great United States military!!

This stamp set would be great to share with school aged children, to stamp, decorate and then deliver with a big BATCH of homemade Chocolate Chip cookies to your local Law Enforcement stations.  You could make a set of cards with envelopes and gift to a military family, so many possibilities to show your gratitude using this fabulous set!

This Loyal and True  stamp set will be a KEEPER in my stash forever.   I’ll post the stamp set below.  I love it. 🙂

If you look closely, I used the Oh My Stars embossing folder for the Night of Navy matte. I used our wonderful Watercolor card stock, my Aqua Painter and the red and blue stamp ink pads.  I squeezed some ink by pressing on the top lid, opened it up and dipped my damp/wet Aqua Painter into each color. Then I just “swished and swiped” back and forth in each color.  I stamped our Soldier in Momento Black ink, pressed it down pretty well before lifting to get a good stamped image.  The “holes” you see are in the stamp itself.  You could color them in with our Stamping Write marker in black if you want it solid.

I stamped the sentiment on Real Red and layered it atop the Night of Navy banner.  I used my Topper punch for the Red to cut the banner edge and free handed the Navy one.

I popped the navy banner on our large dimensional and placed the red banner using our new MINI dimensionals. Love those babies. 🙂  You will, too!  Check them out!

I, also, placed about 8 dimensionals on the back of the light piece watercolor card stock to give lots of lift.

My sweet little envelope (envie), I wanted to give a little more appeal by cutting a piece of Night of Navy card stock to fit the flap.  Ran that through the Big Shot using the Oh my Stars embossing folder!  Gives it a little something more special, I think!  🙂  I miss our envelope liners, but I can be happy decorating the outside flaps as well!  Make lemonade out of lemons, I say!
