Hey, y’all! Here’s another card using the awesome bundle (a 10% savings bundle!) from the Thoughtful Branches bundle set! It’s so versatile and it’s only available until August 31 and that’s coming up soon, so don’t miss this one before it leaves us and goes on its journey far away.
I stamped the hydrangea in Cajun Craze, Pear Pizazz and Crushed Curry and then die cut it out using my trusty ol’ Big Shot boy! The tree trunk is stamped in Early Expresso onto Soft Suede card stock and the Thank you sentiment is stamped in Early Express and then cropped out using those awesome little Oval babies, one size and then the next one up to create a background in the contrasting color of Cajun Craze. I love Cajun Craze! You know why? Because it reminds me it’s almost Fall! It’s my favorite season, but summer runs a close second. I mean CLOSE. 🙂 I love the heat!
Here’s my card a little more close up:
I did use my Wood Grain Embossing folder on the layer of Pear Pizazz to give it more texture, and then I was done and happy with the result! Hope you like it and I hope you get your Thoughtful Branches bundle set soon!!!
I hope you have a GREAT Monday for a MONDAY today! Come back soon, there’s so much holiday goodness coming your way! As I always say, let me know if you have any questions!
From my stampin’ heart to yours,
Debbie
Hi Deb, my bundle should arrive today. This order took a little longer than usual. I was away and was hoping it would have been here when I got home. So, today is the day. I love the Fall also. I’m not too fond of the heat. You can always put an extra layer on, but boy did we just have a heat wave around here. So “Thank You” for sharing this card. You are tempting me with the oval thinlits now.
🙂
Hi Nancy 🙂 Ryan, our son is in Medical School and in Manhattan doing his rotations and he has commented almost daily, especially last week of how hot is there where he is, near you. But, luckily the Fall weather is right around the corner so cool things off a bit!
I just love those Oval framelits, I’m finding I’m using them more and more and especially the smaller ones to just capture a sentiment or a small photo for memory keeping. 🙂 Enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by!
