“The best wines are the ones we drink with friends” Is this not a true statement? For those of us that drink wine, just may feel this way or no??? I, personally, LOVE a good margarita every now and then, but I don’t shy away if the occasion arises for nice glass of wine. I prefer the REDS, but I know the others are wonderful, too! It’s whatever suits our fancy.
I just had to make a few of these for my “vino drinking gal pals!” They love their wine, red, white, light red! You really can’t have a bad day or evening if you’re with great friends and having a sip or two.
Whether you are a wine connesuier or have not a clue of your wines, if you’re with friends and sippin’ well, then, those days are best!
I knew when I first saw this cute set in our new annual catty, I would have a home in my home for it. I love the sentiment, “may you glass always be half full.” It resonates my heart for those I hold dear and near my own heart.

I chose the NEW Berry Burst color because I enjoy the REDS when it comes to wines. This is a brand new “IN COLOR” for 2017-1019 and it’s dreamy. And lush. mmmmwah!

How do you feel when thinking or pondering or if you are ever asked in a casual conversation? Is your glass half empty or is your glass half full? It’s all a matter of perspective and where we are in our lives at any given moment. Mine is always half full. Always room to “fill it up” with more joy and love for life’s journey.
Check out that I simply fussy cut the individual wine glass and propped it up on a small dimensional to give it “depth!” Like wine, does it have “depth?” hahaha!

Calypso Coral card stock only – both the base and the layer
Whisper White Card stock for the adorable Daisies! Stamped the image in Calypso Coral ink!
Stamped the middle inserts in Basic Black
Used Thick Whisper White card stock for my GORGEOUS sentiment! The sentiment is from the Daisy stamp set! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the font!!!!
I used the CLEAR faceted GEMS in the holiday catalog, they are so pretty and bright and sparkly, too!

I popped the top layer up on dimensionals and the daisies are used using the Tombow glue to lay on top of one another. All but the bottom left daisy were adhered down flat, the left bottom daisy is up on a dimensional! I wanted it to “stand out!” I think it does quite nicely! Pretty and feminine and subtle NOTE CARD thank you card. I used those perfect sized note cards to create this sweet, little card for someone very special who is always doing the sweetest and kindest of things, special gifts, sweet notes and lovely conversations. Can’t say who yet as the recipient may be reading my post. wink. wink. Shhhhh….!
My card today was created with the lovely Background Bits stamp set that you earn as a Hostess Set with a $150 or more order. It is such a lovely set and I see it for me personally to use for a more “vintage” style of stamping. I used Crumb Cake ink and spritzed the lovely doily we see in a mix of Alcohol and our Crumb Cake reinker together and spritzed it to create a pale, but vintage “tea stain” look.
I did all the stamping on the front of the card by “stamping off” which means I inked up the stamp itself, THEN I stamped “off” on a scrap piece of paper and then stamped onto my card front. It gives it a pale, subtle look and perhaps a more “old time” look. I used the sentiment from our Eastern Beauty stamp set and it fit perfectly onto of the center of my folded up doiley. I cut the sentiment circle out with the STITCHED FRAMLITS to give even more dimension and noticeability. 🙂
